1. About S4B
Q: What is Skate for Balance?
A: Skate for Balance is an international initiative led by SOA. We bring communities together through local art & skateboarding events that support mental care, physical well-being, inclusion & social connection.

Q: Who runs it & where does it take place?
A: SOA runs the initiative since 2025 thanks to Going Together by Seventeenth x UNESCO grant. Events are organized by local communities all over the world—cities like Paris, Nairobi, Santiago & many more.

Q: What’s the goal of S4B?
A: Our goal is simple: help people reflect, connect, be active, express themselves, & build stronger, more inclusive communities through art & skateboarding.

Q: How will my donation be used?
A: Your support helps fund local events while SOA team provides guidance to organizers worldwide.

Q: How does supporting S4B make a difference?
A: Every donation helps create safer creative spaces where people can learn more about them as individuals &, build a stronger connection within their community. S4B also brings job opportunities in educational, health & creative sectors.

Q: Can I support a specific event or city?
A: No, donations go to the overall S4B initiative to help communities worldwide.

3. Events & participation
Q: Can anyone organize a S4B event?
A: Yes! Anyone can propose an event. We look for ideas that fit our yearly budget & bring lasting benefits to the community. Interested organizers can reach out at hello@soaparis.org

Q: What support do local organizers get?
A: We provide a toolkit, guidance through follow-up calls & promotional support to help local organizers plan their events successfully.

Q: Do I have to be a skater or artist to get involved?
A: Not at all! Whether you skate, create art, or just want to help your community, there’s a role for you in S4B.

4. Donations & rewards
Q: Is my donation tax-deductible?
A: We have nonprofit status, & our official tax receipt (reçu fiscal) is currently being processed. We’ll provide it to donors as soon as it’s ready.

Q: Can I donate in someone else’s name?
A: Of course! You can make a gift in honor of someone special.

Q: Are there perks for donating?
A: We are still working on that.

5. Transparency & accountability
Q: How do you make sure donations are used effectively?
A: SOA tracks all program expenses & shares updates so you can see exactly how your support helped S4B.

Q: How often will updates be shared?
A: We share regular updates on social media so you can follow the journey on @skateforbalance & @soaparis
