Art, Skate & Wellbeing with SOA Paris
About us ↓
We empower women, BPOC, neurodivergent & queer people through art & skate related activations. SOA Paris celebrates skate culture & creativity while promoting self-care & mindfulness. Did you know? Our team is mainly composed of women, non binary & neurodivergent individuals.
SOA Paris is a nonprofit organization using Art & Skateboarding to uplift the wellbeing of our international community.

Almost 3 years now
During the same year, we also teamed up with 15 local businesses, 15 grassroots groups &, 8 skate-related companies & international NGOs. With all this support, we’re proud to keep creating inclusive spaces where art, skateboarding & wellbeing come together!
Since 2023, SOA Paris is officially a nonprofit organization committed make a positive change with art & skateboarding. In 2024, we brought together over 1,500 people through 13 activations. This was possible thanks to our 45 amazing artists & 35 passionate volunteers.
Note that our community is made up of 65% BIPOC & 70% women/queer individuals. It keeps growing, with 80 new memberships last year.

Every year, 4 cities are selected to welcome Skate for Balance. A one-day event combining art, skateboarding & wellbeing. It has been designed especially for women, BIPOC, neurodivergent &/or queer people.
Whether you're a first-time skater or just looking to move your body, express yourself & meet new people, this event is for you. We're keen to help you find your balance, on & off the board. Come as you are, drop in with us!

Our blog: Insights & Stories
The Grip Skateboarding is a digital media created by SOA Paris where culture, identity & creativity ride side by side. We give the mic to skaters you don’t always hear from - especially women, queer folks, artists skaters & community builders reshaping the scene on their own terms.
We talk about first drops & self-doubt. Healing & hype. Art & activism. All through the voices of those living it. The Grip Skateboarding is a work still in progress. We’re currently in the testing phase. Still experimenting with formats, voices & flow. This is literally a DIY journey made in collaboration with Sundries Productions & Pizza Raval Bar. After earning their high school diploma in Administration & Accounting, Jessy went on to study Management, Administration & International Trade, completing a Bachelor’s degree & most of a Master’s (six months short, oopsie!). During that time, JJ (yep, that’s their nickname) started experimenting with their first camera. Fun fact: they still use that same old camera today, 12 years later!
"I believe creativity comes from the lack of resources & the will to create what we have in mind anyway." — Jessy
